As part of the development process it is often necessary create a packaging prototype. Having a visual and/ or model can ensure dimensions and the look and feel of the packaging design is correct. With regards to covermount blister pack protection, it is sometimes necessary to produce 20 prototypes for testing and certification by PIRA.
